Born and raised in Elkins, West Virginia, Dr. Whitlow attended West Virginia University for her undergraduate education. After earning a bachelor’s degree in biology, she moved to Memphis, Tennessee, where she completed her Doctor of Optometry at the Southern College of Optometry in 2019. Following graduation, Dr. Whitlow practiced in Kentucky, working in an ophthalmology setting with an emphasis on medically focused eye care. She is certified in expanded therapeutics, including YAG laser capsulotomy, selective laser trabeculoplasty (SLT), and minor surgical procedures. Dr. Whitlow enjoys being able to provide a full scope of care to all of her patients, from pediatrics to geriatrics and everything in between.
She recently moved back to her hometown with her husband and two children. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, patio weather, and spending time with her family.
