Dr. Adam Casseday, O.D. is a native of Randolph County and a graduate of Elkins High School. His pursuits in higher education led him to a degree in Exercise Physiology from West Virginia University in 2001. He then continued his education at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, where he received his Doctor of Optometry in 2005. Dr. Casseday has served the citizens of Randolph County and surrounding communities since 2006 at Valley Health Care, providing compassionate, high-quality eye care and building long-standing relationships with patients and families.
He resides in Elkins with his wife and two sons. Outside of work, his interests include trail running, race directing, fly fishing, playing the banjo, and advocating for health and wellness through outdoor adventures. In 2011, Dr. Casseday completed a supported thru-run of the entire Appalachian Trail, covering 2,181 miles from Georgia to Maine in just 71 days. He is also the President of the WV Mountain Trail Runners and an active member of the Tygart Valley Lions Club.
