Debra Auble, MD
Doctor of Medicine
Please join us in welcoming Debra Auble, MD to Valley Health Care, Inc. Dr. Auble currently calls southern Randolph County home. She was born in Cincinnati, OH and grew up in Massachusetts. She moved to West Virginia in 1991. Dr. Auble attended Cornell University in upstate New York and received her medical degree from Vanderbilt University in Tennessee. She then moved to Tallahassee, Florida to complete her residency in family medicine.
Dr. Auble has practiced in rural health centers in West Virginia for nearly 25 years. She is passionate about bringing quality health care to the underserved population.
In her personal time, she takes pleasure in gardening and hiking and just being outdoors. She and her husband appreciate opportunities to go exploring and fishing. She also enjoys taking in the local festivals. In their travels, they like to discover new places as well as re-visit some old favorites.

Bruce Gorby, DO
Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine
Bruce Gorby, D.O. is a graduate of Roosevelt-Wilson High School, class of 1979. He attended West Virginia University where he received his BA in Psychology. While at WVU, Dr. Gorby received the honor for ROTC Outstanding Freshman Cadet. Upon graduation from WVU, he attended West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine earning his Doctor of Osteopathy degree. His general internship was at Muskegon General Hospital in Michigan where he was Co-Chief Intern, followed by his residency in family medicine at United Health Center in Clarksburg, WV.
Dr. Gorby has been a primary care provider with Valley Health Care, Inc. for two years. In August 2015, he received Employee of the Month for outstanding patient services and care.
He has 16 years of emergency medicine experience. Additionally, he worked at the Summit Center where he gained experience in mental health care. He has been a primary care provider for over 8 years. He is currently certified in ACLS, PALS, and CPR.
Dr. Gorby is interested in treatment and identification and treatment of substance abuse disorders and is dedicated to helping patients who struggle with addiction and substance abuse. Dr. Gorby has a holistic approach to health care and believes that it is important to integrate behavioral and mental health with physical health in order to fully understand the best treatment plans. He also implements preventive methods such as weight loss plans, diabetic management, and socioeconomic factors assessment in his approach to treatment.
Dr. Gorby is originally from Clarksburg, WV, and he currently resides in Beverly. He is active in the communities where he lives and works. He is presently the team physician for Tygart Valley High School. He has coached youth soccer and Jerry West basketball. He has also been a Den Leader for the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts.
Dr. Gorby has been actively involved in a 12-Step Recovery Group since 2008. Since 2005, he has studied Aikido, a modern Japanese martial art. He is a father of two daughters, Victoria and Sophia. He attends church in Elkins, and enjoys studying history, philosophy, and psychology.

Adam W. Casseday, OD
Doctor of Optometry
Adam Casseday, OD, is a native of Randolph County and a graduate of Elkins High School. His pursuits in higher education led him to a degree in Exercise Physiology in 2001 from West Virginia University. He then continued his education at Pennsylvania College of Optometry where he received his Doctor of Optometry in 2005. He has served the citizens of southern Randolph County and surrounding communities for over 11-years through his employment at Valley Health Care, Inc. – where he is the head of Optometry as well as the Medical Director.
Dr. Casseday resides in Elkins with his wife and two sons. His interests outside of work include trail running, trail maintenance and improvement, and advocating health and wellness through outdoor adventures. He also enjoys race directing and is the co-director for the Highlands Sky 40M and the WV Trilogy. In 2011, Adam completed a supported thru-running of the entire Appalachian Trail; 2,181 miles from Georgia to Maine.
He recently spearheaded a successful effort to build an integrated trail system in a Wildlife Management Area in Elkins, WV, called Fox Forest. Dr. Casseday is also the Vice President of the WV Mountain Trail Runners and is an active member of Tygart Valley Lions Club. He has received numerous awards including employee of the month, and was recently chosen People’s Choice for Optometry by the readers of “The Inter-Mountain”.

K. Coty Lee Campbell, PA-C
Certified Physician Assistant
Valley Health Care, Inc. is honored to welcome K.Coty Lee Campbell to our growing team of healthcare professionals. Coty is the son of Scott and Cindee Campbell of Beverly, West Virginia. After graduating from Elkins High School in 2007, he attended Alderson Broaddus University. Coty originally thought his major in biology and minor in chemistry would lead him to a career as a teacher but he shifted his focus to health care and entered the physician assistant program. As a student at A-B, Coty received numerous honors and awards. In addition to graduating summa cum laude, Coty received the silver key award and was on the Dean’s List and President’s List. While in the P.A. program, Coty was awarded the Janice Iddings Award. He also received the Shearer- Myers- Kennan Award which recognizes excellence in competency, character, and Christian values.
In his spare time, Coty enjoys playing sports, attending sporting events, and values the time he spends with his friends and family.

Johanna Lehmann, PA-C
Certified Physician Assistant
Valley Health Care, Inc. is pleased to announce that Johanna Lehmann, PA-C, has joined the provider team at our Mill Creek Health Care facility. Johanna attended Alderson-Broadus University where she studied biology and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Sciences. She graduated in 1999, and has been practicing medicine for 15 years. She has worked with St. Joseph’s Medical Group in OB/GYN and Family Medicine, Associates for Women’s Health, the Federal Bureau of Prisons, and Valley Health Care. She continues to do Family Planning and Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening Clinics at Braxton County Health Department. Johanna is passionate about women’s health and is an advocate for health literacy and prevention. Johanna says, “I want to empower people to improve their health and to make better choices. I educate patients to make wise decisions about their own health by providing them with essential information about both medical and alternative treatment options.”
She is also a proponent for access to care for minority groups. She wants to ensure that all people get the wellness resources and opportunities that they need, regardless of race, ethnicity, sex or gender identity. Her mission, in part, is to provide care in a sensitive, respectful, and affirming manner that recognizes and honors the patient’s self-description and identification. Johanna is dedicated to providing information in a clear, understandable, and friendly manner and she believes that it is always important to communicate and act with honesty and integrity.
Johanna is originally from New England, and came to WV by prayerful research and planning. She has been a resident of Helvetia for nearly 20 years. She is married and has 5 children. In her free time, Johanna enjoys “digging in the dirt,” referencing her Irish heritage and love of gardening. She also enjoys spending time with her dogs, horses, cats, and anything else in the barn. Johanna says she is most at home when she is immersed in nature.

Denise Leach, PA-C
Certified Physician Assistant
Denise Leach joined the Valley Health Care team in the fall of 2015. She received an Associates in Nursing from D & E College and later a Master of Science in Medical Sciences from Alderson-Broadus University. Denise has practiced primary care for several years. She has an extensive background in Physician Assistant education. She also enjoys dermatology.
Denise is originally from Randolph County, WV. She currently resides in Barbour County, and has two sons. Her interests include traveling, reading, gardening, and crafts. Denise serves as a board member for Barbour County Health Department.
Denise is available by appointment, at both Valley Health Care, Inc. locations: Valley Health Care – Elkins and Valley Health Care – Mill Creek.
Carol Williams, PA-C
Carol Williams, PA-C, joined the Valley Health Care, Inc. staff on December 12th, 2017, and has been a valuable member alongside our other team members ever since. Carol earned her B.A. in Natural Science, as well as her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies, at Alderson Broaddus University in West Virginia.
Carol Williams is available to see patients at our Elkins location on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. She is also available at our Mill Creek location on Thursdays and Fridays. When she is not attending to the community’s health care needs, Carol’s hobbies include running, swimming, gardening, and participating in community fellowship.
