Is Your Child Nervous to Visit the Pediatrician?

Your child may be nervous to visit the pediatrician. At VHC, we understand your child’s apprehension and take steps to make the visit as comfortable and stress-free as possible. We have found that when procedures are required, honesty is the best policy. For example, please let your child know that a vaccine will feel like a pinch. Knowledge of the anticipation of minor discomfort is helpful, and children of all ages appreciate knowing this. Our staff are experienced handling infants and children at all levels of development, including special needs children. We are here to help.
