Meet the Behavioral Health
Providers and Staff of Valley Health Care

The BH Team at Valley Health Care is a trained and caring staff that is available to help by offering quality and confidential treatment. Our counselors offer individual, family, group and relationship counseling to all ages. Working with the VHC Medical Providers, we are able to make things easier for you in getting the treatment that you need. In addition to counseling services, we offer outpatient substance abuse assessments and BH education on a variety of different topics to local agencies and student groups throughout the community. We treat Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, Grief, Loss, Trauma, and ADD/ADHD. Our goal is to help make life easier, happier and more satisfying. Aleisha received a Bachelor of Science Degree and was double majored in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Fairmont State. She received her Master’s Degree in Psychology from Marshall University Graduate College in 2004. Aleisha became licensed in 2010.

Licensed Professional Counselor

Patricia graduated Magna Cum Laude from Marshall University with a Master’s Degree in Counseling and is a WV Licensed Professional Counselor.

Licensed Social Worker Krista Miller has a Bachelor’s Degree from D&E and is a WV LSW.


Kaylon Hancock Cate, BA

Behavioral Health Specialist

Kaylon has a Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration from WVU-Tech.


Tom Singleton, BS, MA, LSW, LPC

Tom Singleton, BS, MA, LSW, LPC has joined the behavioral health team at Valley Health Care. Tom attended Marshal University Graduate College. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Licensed Social Worker (LSW). Tom has worked in the Mental Health Field since 1989. He sees both Children and Adult clients with Mental Health issues. He has nearly 30 years of experience in counseling. He has training in Family Systems therapy, trauma-based therapies, PTSD, Grief Counseling, Depression, Anxiety, Anger Management, etc.
Tom was born and raised in Elkins.

Tom is currently seeing patients at both VHC locations in Elkins and Mill Creek.
