Each of our Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners (SANE) have been thoroughly trained and have completed specialized education to provide clinical and medical forensic care for both adult and pediatric patients who have suffered sexual abuse or assault.

SANE nurses bridge the gap where the healthcare and legal systems intersect. As forensic specialists, our SANE staff provide a wide range of professional services for those who have been victimized by violence, sexual assault, and related crimes, as well as law enforcement personnel investigating these criminal acts, including assistance with death investigations, consultations, intervention, forensic gynecology, and other areas as needed. These highly trained personnel are invaluable to the services that we provide for our most vulnerable patients.
